Travel and Transport

Many students at Medway commute to campus so it is important to understand the options open to you when travelling and the most cost effective ways to travel.

Campus Shuttle Buses

There is a shuttle bus to and from the Canterbury Campus for the University of Kent and both the Avery Hill and Greenwich Campuses for the University of Greenwich.

Public Transport

Arriva buses offer student saver tickets for the Kent and Surrey area. On their website you can buy tickets and find all the information you need to make travelling on Arriva buses in Kent and Surrey easy.

Or maybe travelling by train is your thing? Check out the National Rail Railcard webpage to get better rates when you travel.

If you use Transport for London (TfL) and wanted to apply for an Oyster card University of Greenwich provide guidance for their students in making an application.

Cycling

If you travel by bike instead then the University of Kent website has a range of information for cyclists as does the University of Greenwich.
